Whitehall Library Registration Information

Residents in the Whitehall-Coplay School District will be issued a library card by providing identification verifying their home residence. Residents of other municipalities or school districts will be issued a card by showing a current library card from their home library that bears the ACCESS PA sticker. Identification is necessary.

Acceptable forms of ID are: (all must be current) driver's license, utility bills, lease, or auto registration. The library MUST be notified of ALL changes in patron status such as address/telephone changes, family member changes, change of name.

Library cards are valid for 2 years; cards are updated during the month of expiration. If the card hasn't been used for some time after its expiration, bring it to the library to have it updated. ID is required; we cannot update cards for other family members without their being at the library and having identification. DO NOT discard your expired card! A replacement fee of $2 is charged for cards that have been lost or damaged.

Report lost or stolen cards to the Circulation Desk as soon as possible. If your residential area has no home library, a Non-Resident membership can be purchased for $40 per family per year.

More detailed information about library policies can be obtained from our brochure which is available at the library.
