Meeting Room Available!

The library has a meeting room that is available for use by the public. Library-related programs are given priority in scheduling. 
 
To schedule the meeting room, please call  610-432-4339 during our regular hours. 
 
Non-profit organizations may use the room free of charge. For-profit organizations must pay the modest fee of $50.00 for a three-hour time period.  This fee is due when the room is reserved. 
 
Several groups have regularly scheduled meetings.  Please reserve the room well in advance of your program.  The name and phone number of a contact person for your organization is required.  
 
Please let us know at the time you reserve the room if you have any special seating or equipment needs, such as use of a television or videocassette player. 
 

RULES

1.  NO smoking anywhere on the library premises including the parking lot. 
 
2. NO alcoholic beverages are permitted. 
   
3.  Food and beverages are permitted at the discretion of the library director.

The Whitehall Township Public Library reserves the right to require that any public advertising of the meeting include the following statement: "The views expressed in this program are not necessarily those of the Whitehall Township Public Library."  The name of the Whitehall Township Public Library may be used on publicity materials only to identify the location of the program.
   

RESPONSIBILITIES

The group is responsible for:
  • directing people to the meeting room
  • ensuring that participants park in the adjoining parking lot
  • cleaning up after the meeting
  • adjourning at least 15 minutes prior to the library's closing time
